Brush thoroughly 3 times per week using slicker brush and finishing with comb to catch any remaining tangles. Increase frequency and use line brushing technique (brush in small sections from bottom to top) if coat is longer. 

When wet, brush through with a pin brush, and immediately brush when dry, otherwise matting can occur.
